We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer to join our remote-first development team. You will be working on Scouta, a collaborative recruitment platform, changing the way that top tech talent gets hired around the world. You will be responsible for shaping the early versions of our product and disrupting tech recruitment for the benefit of engineers everywhere.
Our beta product is currently in testing at some of Australia’s fastest growing startups and scape-ups, including Canva, Deputy, and Finder. Following funding from top-tier venture capital partners, we are now building a team to design and develop the next version of our product.
As one of the first hires at Scouta, you will help shape both our product and our culture. We are looking for outstanding engineers that have proven experience in delivering as part of a remote team. You will believe in product-led development, relentless customer focus, and a strong desire to do things right the first time. Above all, you will be passionate about taking ownership of your code and collaborating with the team to deliver the best possible customer experience.
Work where you work best, either remotely or from our offices in the Sydney startup hub.

Collaborate with other developers on the best way to solve a complex problem, or design a new feature, and then own the delivery of that story.

Solid back-end experience (C#, .NET Core, SQL Server) coupled with an ability to get stuck into front-end code (JavaScript, Vue.js, Vuex).
Strong DevOps skills (GitLab, AWS, Docker).
A desire to automate whenever possible and build it right first time.
Self-motivation, a proven ability to work independently, and desire to work collaboratively to get the best result from the team.
